Derrick lives in St. Cloud and comes from a large, diverse family where “family-first” was the golden rule. His first job was at Burger King “centuries ago,” in his words, so he’s got a little more work experience under his belt than he’s willing to count.
As a kid, Derrick had the very specific ambition of becoming a zookeeper for giraffes. Life took him in a different direction, but he still prefers spending his free time with nature, especially when he can get out fishing.
